Workforce:
💰 Digital coaching platform CoachHub plans to further expand in the Asia Pacific and other regions of the world after raising $200m. The startup has now worked with more than 500 companies, including Coca-Cola, Danone, Toyota, LVMH, L’Oréal, Credit Suisse and Twitter.
💰 Amsterdam startup TestGorilla announced their $70m raise. After just two years of operating, the company has amassed 5,300 customers — including big names like H&M, Sony, PepsiCo and Oracle.
💰 Transfr VR, a NYC-based company pioneering the use of virtual reality to simulate on-the-job training, raised $35m. Nearly 300 organizations are now using Transfr’s simulations as a platform for skills training and career exploration.
💰 Ceipal, a Rochester, NY-based AI-powered SaaS platform that provides full-lifecycle management of the talent acquisition process, closed $21m. Founded in 2015, the company serves 2,000+ customers and 120,000 recruiters globally.
💰 Archipel Academy, the fastest growing Dutch EdTech platform and an all-in-one learning platform for organizations, obtained c.$13m. The company has secured clients such as Heineken, VodafoneZiggo, Philips and Unilever.
💰 Canditech, the Israeli startup helping companies accurately assess job candidates with the world's first online job-simulation platform, announced it raised $9m. Canditech uses work-sample tests to simulate any position within the company, allowing candidates to get a glimpse of the company and their future role.
💰 Velocity Career Labs, a startup that built a blockchain network to fix the broken data layer underlying the global labor market, announced it raised $6.5m.
💰 Terra.do, a global climate career platform with the goal of putting 100 million people to work in the field by 2030, closed $5m. Several thousand mid-career professionals from 25+ countries have completed the company’s cohort-based learning programmes.
Higher Ed:
💰 Online test preparation platform Toprankers raised $4m. Toprankers has an annualised revenue run rate of $3m and is planning to double this in the next 12 months. Additionally, the company has already turned profitable.
K-12:
💰 Elevate K-12, the leading provider of high-quality live-streaming instruction for US K-12 classrooms, closed $40m. The company claims that live, synchronous, structured teaching will solve countless problems for K-12 schools by providing access to teachers who don't live or work in the school's zip code.
💰 Prenda, a platform enabling tuition-free microschools of 10 students or fewer, announced their $20m raise. To date, 3,000 students in the U.S. have already been learning by enrolling in one of 300 microschools powered by Prenda’s platform.
